Peer Support in Truro Sunshine and Showers is an indpendent peer support group in Truro, Cornwall run by Time to Change Champion, Claire Jones.

The aim of the group is to provide as much information and tools around Self Help for Mental & Physical Health and Wellbeing as possible. The group is run by volunteers and everyone who attends has personal experience of health problems and they work together to help each other through difficult times.

Volunteer Leader, Claire commented:

We go bowling every 2 weeks and some people have found it a lifeline and have used it to make new friends gather information on other local activities and to help rebuild confidence and self esteem.

The group always welcome new members to come along and if you would like to join us or would like more information please contact the team at admin@sunshineandshowers.co.uk or use the contact us page.
