Ever feel lost ? Mental Illness can make us feel really Lost sometimes, like we want to go in ever direction but end up going in none. I think this may be a sign that we need to slow down a bit, gather our thoughts and just process the information at hand for a while. Sometimes (and this is really hard !) I turn everything off in my house, the lights, the tv, everything apart from the fridge freezer and I try to sit quietly. For someone with mental illness this is soooo hard but it works. It kind of clears the air a bit. Try it if you can !
When we look at other people and wish we were like them we must remember that we are not comparing like for like, we are comparing our inside to their outside which isnt always reality, stop wishing and start living ! Claire ♥
“The most important thing to remember is that true change happens slowly over time. When you first learn to play the piano, it’s not like you wake up the next morning to find that you’re suddenly a master pianist.”―Bethany Butzer
Structure ~ my god how important is this !! I was reminded the hard way yesterday. I didn't make a plan and so I got in a panic fell into that dark hole of depression and struggled thru the day getting more and more stressed with how much time stretched before me. So lesson learnt and next time I will make a plan and stick to it ! who else finds Sundays difficult ?
